The Role:

Specialist Clinics operates all medical outpatient services at RCH.

The position of Customer Service Officer- Specialist Clinics is a front line customer service role involving a high level of interaction with patients and their families, medical, nursing and allied health staff. The position will be responsible for performing a broad range of administrative and customer focused duties, ranging from scheduling initial appointments through to discharge from specialist clinics.


To be successful in this role you will have:


  • High level customer service skills
  • Demonstrated experience in using computer applications, including but not limited to, RMS, EPIC and IBA.
  • Previous experience working in a busy front line customer service based role.
  • Previous experience in a Specialist Clinics or Healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory.
