The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) provides secondary and tertiary care to children and young people across the northern and western suburbs; specialist paediatric healthcare to the children of Victoria, Tasmania, southern NSW and parts of South Australia; and is the designated state-wide provider of services including paediatric trauma, rehabilitation and forensic medicine. As a quaternary centre for complex cardiac surgery and organ transplantation, the RCH cares for the sickest children from around Australia.

The Position:

RCH is implementing Office 365 and specifically MS Teams to provide an enabling platform for more seamless collaboration amongst staff and key partners by offering an integrated platform for meeting, sharing ideas and co-authoring documents.

In an environment when increasingly flexibility is required to support remote working, Office 365 can also enable RCH staff to securely and efficiently access these tools and documents from various nominated devices including RCH computers, home computers and mobile devices.

Working with the ICT project team, Steering Committee and RCH Champions the purpose of this role is to conduct stakeholder analysis and plan and execute change management activities including communications, training and support for RCH staff in adopting the tools and new ways of working.    

 

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Solid understanding of the Office 365 suite including MS Teams and practical implementation in a hospital/healthcare environment
  • Strong customer service with the demonstrated ability to build and maintain  key working relationships across organisation and ensuring a high level of service to customers
  • Excellent organisational and planning  skills
  • Excellent  verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders with diverse requirements and competing priorities
  • Highly developed attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Ability to work with initiative, autonomy and lead others in the pursuit of team goals
  • Demonstrated ability to respond flexibly to client needs with the ability to develop practical solutions to problems and provide advice in area of expertise
