The Role:

 

We are currently recruiting for casual Nurses across a wide range of clinical areas. Ideally we are looking for applicants with four or more years of demonstrated Registered Nurse experience. 

 

As a member of our diverse and highly skilled casual Bank team you will have the opportunity to work right across The Royal Children's Hospital, gaining exposure in both general and specialty areas across a variety of wards, Including Medical, Surgical, Critical Care, Emergency, Operating Suites, Medical Imaging, Community programs and Specialist Clinics.

 

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • Minimum four years’ experience in an acute, medical, surgical, and/or speciality area of nursing.  
  • A positive attitude and a genuine interest in exceptional family centred care.
  • Recent experience in an acute, medical, surgical, and/or speciality area of nursing.
  • Paediatric experience is desirable.
  • Evidence of on-going professional development as reflected in Professional Practice Portfolio.

Selection Criteria Essential: Are you an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or do you hold Australian "permanent residency status"
Desirable: Minimum of 3 years acute paediatric clinical experience
Desirable: Available to work a minimum of 3 shifts a month
