The Department of Anaesthesia and Pain Management are seeking Pain Management Fellow with appointment commencing 3 February 2019.

 

The Fellow in Pain Management is a member of the Children’s Pain Management Service (CPMS) that advocates for and provides pain management for children and adolescents with acute, persistent, procedural and cancer pain.

 

The Fellow is responsible for the provision of pain management assessment, advice

and management, in consultation with the admitting team, the referring doctor, the CPMS and the multidisciplinary Children’s Pain Management clinic team.  The Fellow is also responsible for education, aspects of administration and advancing research in the field of pain management.

 

Appointment is subject to a satisfactory police check and Working with Children Check. In addition, all International Medical Graduate applicants will need to have passed their IELTS test in order to be successful in this position - results must indicate a score of 7 or above across all bands.
