2020 Resident / Registrar / Fellow – Informatics and Training

(Electronic Medical Record - EMR)

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) Melbourne is one of the world's great children's hospitals. We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff of over 4,500 people, the Royal Children’s Hospital provides a full range of tertiary clinical services, health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people, high level research and education services.

 

The Epic EMR has now been live at RCH for over 3 years.  The EMR team has established this informatics and training role, offered for 12 months at 0.2 EFT to:

·         Advise EMR analysts on aspects of the build / tools utilised by JMS
·         Assist with the review of medical curriculum and modes of delivery
·         Deliver training, particularly during JMS intakes
·         Assist and improve doctors efficiency and use of the EMR.

The position is based in Parkville at the Royal Children’s Hospital.

Previous experience in Epic is essential.
