The Role:


An ongoing position is available for an experienced Registered Nurse to be part of a multi-disciplinary team. As the Clinical Nurse Consultant - Infection Prevention and Control, you will provide the Infection Prevention and Control service at the Royal Children’s Hospital within the framework of national guidelines and the ACHS National Standards 3 for Preventing and Controlling Healthcare Associated Infections.


To be successful in this role you will have experience with Hand Hygiene auditing, Pre and Post Test Counselling, (HIV Hepatitis C,) post graduate qualification or experience in infection prevention, be an accredited Nurse Immuniser and have experience in data collection and analysis.
