The Role:

 The RCH Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) currently has a new part time position in the RCH Refugee Clinic. The role will involve providing Mental Health assessment and intervention to children and their families from a refugee background. The successful candidate in the role will work alongside a multi-disciplinary Mental Health Team. The position will be based predominantly at Parkville Campus, with the potential need to attend community sites as required.

We are seeking a nurse who has a passion for working in this new and rewarding area of mental health nursing. Utilising your nursing skill set to work closely with the team, whilst contributing to excellent care of young people and their families.

 

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA. 
  • Appropriate Mental Health nursing qualification, or working towards same. 
  • Recent experience in Mental Health nursing. 
  • Evidence of on-going professional development as reflected in Professional Practice Portfolio.
