The Role:

This position aims to improve access to mental health services for Aboriginal children, adolescents, their families and carers, and support the delivery of clinical, cultural and spiritual healing journeys.

 

This position is based in Flemington and is an Aboriginal identified role. You will work with mental health clinicians, members of the Wadja Family Place and members of Aboriginal community organisations to improve mental health for children and their families. The role includes important functions of engaging young people and their families, working alongside mental health clinicians and contributing a vital role to culturally-sensitive care.

 

Please consider applying if you have experience in the delivery of social and emotional wellbeing or mental health services in the Aboriginal community and want to work in a well-functioning team committed to culturally appropriate services and healing for children and families. The role will be well supported with operational as well as cultural supervision.
