The Role:

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Records Management Advisor to join the Risk and Information Management team in a part-time capacity. As the Records Management Advisor you are responsible for providing subject matter expertise in relation to the development and implementation of the RCH’s Administrative Records Management program. This position will develop the framework and policies and procedures to ensure that the RCH is compliant with applicable legislation, standards and regulations.  You will work with both internal and external stakeholders.

 

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Extensive knowledge of administrative records management legislative requirements, standards and regulatory requirements
  • Demonstrated expert experience in the development, implementation, improvement and evaluation of an administrative record management framework, procedures and systems
  • Demonstrated experience with electronic document and records management systems
  • Proven ability to work with stakeholders to demonstrate the value of effective records management
  • Highly developed conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of records management best practice
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated presentation and report writing skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to balance competing demands and manage workload
