The Role: provides direct patient care to young children with neurodevelopmental conditions, as well as infants or children at risk of delay due to their hospitalisation. The coordination role is to ensure processes for both a multidisciplinary clinic and research project within the department are efficiently conducted. Other duties may be directed by the OT manager and the Wallaby Nursing Unit Manager. 


To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Demonstrated clinical experience in upper limb interventions of very young children with cerebral palsy 
  • Ability to conduct standardised assessments and interpret their results 
  • Evidence of strong skills in supporting and communicating with vulnerable families and to coach and support families to complete home programs 
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills including flexibility and adaptability to handle competing work demands
