The Role:


The Workplace Health & Safety team has a fantastic Health and Wellbeing Coordinator role who will be responsible to enhance a safety first culture across the organisation and promote a staff health and wellbeing program. The Health and Wellbeing Coordinator will be responsible for promoting best practice through processes and initiatives, ensuring a safe environment for staff, volunteers, contractors, patients and visitors; promote staff wellbeing and encourage a pro-active approach to WHS in the work environment. Contribute to the achievement of Workplace Health and Safety objectives through the provision of quality customer focused services and undertake organisation wide health and wellbeing projects.


The successful candidate will ideally possess: 

  • Tertiary qualification in a health discipline with relevant experience in health promotion/preventative healthcare;
  • Demonstrated experience in the development and delivery of health and wellbeing programs
  • Previous experience in a large organization or healthcare environment
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to work to tight deadlines in a dynamic fast moving environment;
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills;
  • Demonstrated skills to effectively organise and plan in line with frameworks and methodologies that monitor achievement of objectives and key performance indicators;
  • Ability to develop and effectively implement process improvement and change.
