The department:

Our Department of Endocrinology and Diabetes is one of the largest departments of its type in Australia. We have a national and international reputation for the care and research conducted each year. 


The position:

We are seeking an Endocrine Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) is to facilitate and support the care, education and ongoing management of patients and families with endocrine related conditions. The Endocrine CNC will engage with paediatric patients across a continuum of ages presenting with delayed growth and development, endocrine gland disorders including adrenal, thyroid and pituitary problems under the direction of The Royal Children’s Hospital Endocrinology and Diabetes Department.


To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Post graduate qualification in nursing, paediatrics or equivalent preferred
  • A minimum of  four years post graduate experience
  • A thorough knowledge of principles of function, endocrine related conditions in the context of the child and family’s life.
