The Young People’s Health Service(YPHS) is a program of the Department of Adolescent Medicine located at Front Yard Youth Services in the Melbourne CBD. YPHS is the only primary health care service that works specifically with young people (12 – 24 years) who are experiencing homelessness and marginalization.


YPHS are looking for an experienced and qualified nurse to join their small team located at Front yard Youth Services.


The successful applicant will work with homeless and marginalised adolescents and young adults around:

  • Sexual and reproductive health
  • Drugs and alcohol
  • Emotional and mental wellbeing
  • Skin problems
  • Nutrition
  • Vaccinations and avenues to seek further specialist help. 

The successful candidate will bring: 

  • A current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • Post graduate nursing experience, five years or more.
  • Minimum of two years in an advanced practice nursing role in a community setting, preferably with adolescents and young adults

A master’s qualification in either adolescent health, public health, community health, mental health, sexual and reproductive health or forensic health would be highly regarded.
