Nurse Coordinator - Rosella


Employment:  Part time, fixed term and Full time, Ongoing

Salary:            $93,600.00 per annum (pro-rata)

Location:        Parkville – Hub of the medical precinct and leading Children’s hospital

The Position:

The Rosella Care- Coordinator will be a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurses with Extensive Paediatric Critical Care Experience with a passion to work in a multidisciplinary team to share specialist knowledge, skills and the essence of nursing to ensure excellent and specialist clinical care is provided to long term and complex patient and families within the Intensive Care. 

Candidates must possess excellent clinical knowledge and be self-directed. The successful candidate will have highly effective communication and organizational skills to work with families and the multidisciplinary team. This candidate will also have an interest in quality improvement and will have contributed to improving care processes and outcomes on the Unit.


To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) administered through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing personal and professional development, as evidenced in a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) record/Professional Practice Portfolio (PPP).
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and autonomously as required
  • Effective time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and be flexible to changing priorities and environment
