The Role:


An exciting opportunity has come about in the role of Director Planning, Risk and Information Management at the Royal Children's Hospital. Working with the Executive and leadership team, you will pivotal to supporting the organisation in its 2019-2022 Strategic Plan to realise Great Care - Everywhere!

 

Key responsibilities of the role include: planning, enterprise risk management, performance reporting and information management, coordination of internal audit activities and operational responsibility for Health Information Services and Decision Support Unit.

Selection Criteria Essential: Tertiary level health related qualification
Essential: Extensive experience (minimum of 5 years) in a senior leadership role within a health organisation
Essential: Extensive experience in one or more of the following key areas: strategic/business planning, information management, health information management, project/change management
Essential: Extensive project management and change management experience in organisation wide or strategic initiatives
Essential: Demonstrated effectiveness as manager with a proven ability to develop and meet strategic, operational and budgetary objectives and experience in leading and managing a team
Desirable: Post graduate qualification in management (or progress towards such a qualification)
