This Role: An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic and experienced clinician to join the RCH ECIS team for the delivery of Early Intervention support through an ECIS Key Worker model. RCH ECIS provides support to children aged 0-6 years with developmental delay and disabilities. The clinician will be working to build the capacity of families to support their child to participate in everyday routines. The speech pathology role sits within a transdisciplinary team and will also provide assessment and intervention to support families using a family centred and strengths based approach.

 

To be successful in this role you will have:

 

  • Experience in working with children 0-6 years of age with developmental disabilities
  • Experience in working as a Key Worker with families.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a transdisciplinary team
    • Demonstrated ability to have a flexible approach to working with families and staff using a strengths based approach
    • Demonstrated ability to implement effective caseload management strategies
