The Role:

A part-time, fixed-term Physiotherapist position exists within the RCH Physiotherapy department.  The Physiotherapist will provide physiotherapy services to children and adolescents as part of a multidisciplinary team at RCH.  Working in close collaboration with medical, nursing and allied health staff at RCH, the incumbent will ensure that services provided to children at RCH are innovated, evidence-based and provided in a child and family centred context.  This role sits within the Physiotherapy cardiorespiratory team.  Areas of practice within this role include acute and chronic respiratory care, intensive care, post-operative care, transplant care, developmental care and aquatic therapy.


To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A relevant Degree in Physiotherapy
  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Previous acute tertiary hospital experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, consultancy and overall patient management skills
  • Previous actue paediatric hospital experience (desirable)
  • A strong commitment to being responsible for professional standards of practice in Paediatric Physiotherapy
