The Position:

The Production Assistant is part of a small but dynamic Creative Services team responsible for the development of quality assets in support of RCH’s communication channels. The position provides support for all aspects of video production and studio management, including filming and editing, sound, lighting and camerawork as well as liaising with internal and external clients. The position holder will work across the broader Communications team to provide production support to all communication assets with a particular focus on the delivery of patient-facing video productions and social media.


To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • At least three years studio production experience including camerawork, audio, lighting and video editing
  • Expertise in all areas of studio operations, post-production, creative development, filming and maintenance of studio
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere & After Effects)
  • Proven experience managing competing priorities
  • Proven ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience in healthcare or education an advantage but not essential.
